I'm not a big Scraton area fan, so the roads can be confusing. GPS helped us find the hotel. Spark is located located in a good spot where you don't have to drive every far to get a bite to eat or should you need to top off the gas tank. (It's not out in the middle of nowhere). The front desk staff was friendly and pleasant during the quick check-in process. While we were on our way out to run an errand, my husband had a question about a wall switch near the entry of our room. It didn't seem to do anything that we could see. While we were out, the young lady at the desk checked in another room and explained that yes, the switch operated a light further into the room, and she would put it on the list for maintenance to check. For the record, it didn't hinder our stay in any way, nor did it give me pause to think negatively about this property. I liked the breakfast selection it wasn't overwhelming. They offer cereal, yogurt, fruit, and pastry, which was plenty for us.

I liked that the property was right across the street from Tully’s restaurant which serves people up until 10:00 pm. The hotel was average but a good value for the price. The staff was very nice. Coffee, bottled water are available 25/7.The continental breakfast area is very small. I would advise eating on your room.

We didn’t actually get to stay there. There was an issue in the hotel and they didn’t have a room for us. The front desk staff was great about it. Comfort Inn got us a room in a neighboring hotel at no charge to us. Based on this I would definitely book at Comfort Inn again since they take care of their customers.

The location is in a good spot...near restaurants.. grocery stores...the continental bfast was good with cereal..yogurt.. juice.. English muffins.. hot water pressure in shower very good.. King size bed was excellent.. really liked the luggage transporter..
